Bought one of these after being highly recommended by a buddy this past winter. Tried it out and only took two weeks for me to order my next one. Now have 4 and have zero complaints! I’ve tried several regular and cell cams over the years and the only other brand that rivals blackgate is reconyx but you’re getting blackgate for 1/3 the price. Have yet to find a spot that the R4G won’t get service even in deep hollers with full tree canopy. The “low quality” thumbnails are clearer than other cams HD pics. Could seriously go on and on about how good blackgate cams are, you will not be disappointed!

Have had this camera for just a short period of a couple days in the field and I will say that I will buy more in the future. It is like they took the most important parts of a cell camera and amped them up. I started off by calling them and getting some details and warranty info. My biggest thing is I seem to have bad luck with cell cams lasting a season or two and then quitting and then I contact their customer service and get basically told to buy more or get zero response from customer service. So already I had a positive interaction with them. Now to the camera... I feel like this thing could be put in a cave a mile underground and it will somehow find service. All other brands have failed to get service for me in a couple areas that I hunt and this camera has 4 bars of service and uploads as it should! The pic quality on the app is in a league of its own. The regular photos without requesting HD are clearer than the HD photos from the other brands I have had. Showed buddies the pics and they were impressed as well. The only things I have left are to see the battery life and how long the camera holds up. The camera feels sturdy and built well so I have high hopes! Plus I really like the data plan options and add ons!

I am absolutely in love with this camera and this company, they have done nothing less than be exceptional. I bought the camera after listening to the WCB podcast and everything that was said about the cameras was 100% true. I will never go back to any other brand.

Hands down the best trail camera I have used. I got my first one about a year ago and recently got 2 more. The image quality is outstanding and support is second to none.
